Careers for US military members and veterans

At Schneider Electric, we’re building a culture in our US operations that embraces and empowers veterans, and in turn, is enriched by their experience, perspective, and capabilities. People with a military background possess numerous attributes, including loyalty, leadership ability, respect, integrity, duty, reliability, and working as team members. We value those attributes in our employees.

Transitioning military and veterans also possess a unique set of skills. We can utilize and further develop these skills as you embark on the next stage of your career outside of the military. Our VETS (Voice of Employees That Served) Employee Resource Network (ERN) helps to facilitate the development and retention of veterans through outreach, empowering, mentoring, and networking.

Our company has also made it easier than ever for current Military Reservists and National Guard members to continue serving their country without having to sacrifice their careers. In addition to regular paid time off, we offer:

  • 20 business days of military services leave
  • Military Pay differential program up to 26 weeks
  • Military Spouse Leave (a paid leave of up to 80 hours to employees who are the spouse or domestic partner of a member of the uniformed services of the US).
  • Starting January 2025, employees who have served for at least one year in the U.S. uniformed services are eligible to receive 20 days of paid time off (PTO) annually.
