What is the difference between a trigger action push-pull or turn to release verses a non-trigger action?
Issue:
Difference between a trigger action mushroom head Emergency-stop push-pull or turn to release operator against a standard non-trigger action operator.

Product Line:
22mm Push Buttons

Environment:
Harmony 22mm

Cause:
Product Features

Resolution:
A standard operator can be depressed enough to open a normally closed contact without latching into the depressed position (also referred to as teasing the contact).
The trigger action units have a spring loaded mechanism that causes the operator to pull fully into the depressed position after a certain actuation distance confirming the operator has been switched.
