Goals and Symptoms
How do you program the 884 clock function (CCLK)
Causes and Fixes
The 884 clock function was added after initial release of the product (starting with serial number 5318).
Features:
Accuracy +/- 0.5 seconds per day at 25° C
Automatic Leap Year adjustment
Backed by the 884's on board battery
The 884 clock function is found as a special function on either the P190 or in the MODBUS software. The abbreviation is CCLK.
The function block on screen resembles this:
INPUT ONE | SOURCE | OUTPUT TWO |
(HARDWARE ERROR) | ||
CCLK | ||
INPUT TWO | DESTINATION | OUTPUT TWO |
(SET ERROR) |
The source register is seven contiguous 3X or 4X registers defined as:
Source | Day of week (1 - 7) |
Source+1 | Month (1 - 12) |
Source+2 | Day of month (1 - 31) |
Source+3 | Year (0 - 99) |
Source+4 | Hour (0 - 23) |
Source+5 | Minute (0 - 59) |
Source+6 | Second (0 - 59) |
The Destination register is also seven contiguous registers defined as above except the destination registers must be 4X registers.
To initially set time:
Make sure both inputs are off.
Enter the desired values in the source register (a value must be entered in every register)
Turn input one on making sure input two is off.
Note: Input one must be on for the clock to run. When input two is off the clock stops.
