ATV212 drive programming, for a 4-20mA speed reference.
Product Line:
ATV212, Altivar 212
Environment:
All
Cause:
Default setup for the ATV212 is a 0-10V speed reference on VIA.
Resolution:
- The ATV212 drive comes with FMOd = 1 (VIA reference). Confirm this setting is correct in the drive.
- Change parameter F201 to 20 (VIA speed reference level 1, factory default is 0). Setting F201 to 20 tells the analog input minimum to 4mA instead of 0mA.
- On the control board of the drive, find the dip switch SW100 (above the VIA and VIB terminals), then slide the VIA dip switch over to " I " for current.
- Check the connection 4-20mA signal going to terminals VIA (input) and CC (common).
