How do I troubleshoot an ATS48 soft starter with no +24vdc power supply?

Issue:
ATS48 soft starter with no +24vdc power supply

Product Line:
Altistart ATS48

Environment:
All

Cause:
Missing the +24vdc power supply

Resolution:

  1. Check the 120VAC or 230VAC control voltage on CL1 and CL2
  2. Check the +24vdc to com terminals make sure you meter is DC voltage range.
  3. Check J6 ribbon cable on the power board inside the soft starter.   There are 2 sets of twisted pairs of wires.  One set will have +24vdc, and one set will have +10vdc.  If these voltages are not present, then you may have an issue with the power board.  If you have these voltages, then it might be a problem with the MCB Main control board.
