Issue:
The line isolation contactor is not pulling in when you power up the ATS48 soft starter.
Product Line:
Altistart ATS48, ATS480 soft starters
Resolution:
The R1 relay (R1A and R1C) is a dry contact, and normally controls the isolation contactor control circuit. If R1 is programmed for fault, the R1 relay will close or energize when you apply control voltage to CL1 CL2.
If R1 is programmed for isolation, the R1 relay will close only after you get the soft starter a run command.

- Power up the drive
- Arrow down to IO ( inputs and outputs) menu ENTER
- Arrow down to r1 ENTER
- R1F= fault, R1I= isolation
