Issue:
How can I simulate a fault condition on my ATS22 or ATS48 soft starter to verify my fault status circuitry connected to the starter is working properly?
Product line:
ATS22 and ATS48 series soft starters
Environment:
All models, All serial numbers
Cause:
Customer needs to generate a fault condition on the starter in order to verity their building management system registers the fault properly.
Resolution:
An easy way to generate a fault on an ATS22 or ATS48 series starter is to provide a run command to the starter when the motor is not connected. The ATS22 will display SCCR and the ATS48 will display PHF. Any relays assigned to a fault function will actuate.
