Why are ATV31, ATV312 and ATV320 drives showing 0 on the display after a run command is given, and the motor is not running?

Issue:
The ATV31, ATV312 and ATV320 is showing 0 on the display after a run command is given and the motor is not running.

Product Line:
ATV31, ATV312, ATV320

Environment:
All

Cause:
Drive stays at 0Hz when run command is given

Resolution:
The drive is getting a run command but has no commanded speed.

Check your analog input signal.
Check your input assignment on the CTL menu under FR1 or try setting your low speed above 0hz to see if the drive will run.
Verify the polarity of your analog input is correct. The negative goes to COM and the positive goes to the AI terminal being used.
If you're trying to use the dial on the face of the drive as speed reference, make sure Fr1 is set to A1U1.
