Issue:
The Error "Packet Send Incomplete. Possible cable problem" appears on the HMI randomly

Product Line:
Vijeo Designer (all versions and all supported HMI models)

Resolution:
This error could be caused by noise on the serial line. Typically this error occurs when any sort of disruption of the serial connection between the two devices occurs. Anything is a possible cause from a severed cable, noise, bad shielding, bad connection.

One recommendation is to change the communication cable first to see if that resolves the error.
