How does one change the direction of the drive in a S-FLEX Drive without affecting bypass?

Article available in these languages: Spanish

Issue:
S-FLEX Drive direction modification without affecting bypass

Product Line:
Altivar 212, ATV21, S-Flex, SFLEX

Environment:
All

Cause:
Wrong rotation in drive and correct rotation in bypass

Resolution:
With power disconnected from the unit, swap 2 of the leads leaving the T1, T2, and T3 terminals on the ATV212 or any 2 connecting to the input side of the drive output contactor (DOC).
Do NOT swap phases at the incoming circuit breaker or at the motor connections on the Overload Relay.
This will ensure that the drive's rotations is changed but bypass will stay the same.
