In SoMachine V4.3 or EcoStruxure Machine Expert, how can I programmatically deactivate the ModbusTCP I/O Scanner with the Modicon M241, M251, or M262 controllers?
Product Line
Hardware: Modicon M241, M251, M262 PLCs
Software: SoMachine v4.3, EcoStruxure Machine Expert v1.x, v2.x
Resolution
To deactivate the ModbusTCP IO Scanner, you can use the IOS_STOP Function Block.
See:
EcoStruxure Machine Expert Modbus TCP User Guide (schneider-electric.com)
You will need to add the EN (Input) and ENO (Output) pins.
When the function block's EN pin is TRUE, the ModbusTCP IO Scanner is deactivated.
It deactivates the entire IO scanner table.
It is not possible to deactivate individual devices on the IO scanner table
