Issue:
How can I make a report of where my variables are used in my Vijeo Designer project?
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer (all versions)
Resolution:
In Vijeo Designer, we offer a variable report feature that will create a report that has dynamic links that point to every object, script, or action where your variables are used. Pressing on the link will open the configuration settings of the object, script, or action so you can see where it has been used.
To create a variable report, follow this procedure:
1) Select the "Variables" node to open the variables list
2) Goto the "Reports" menu
3) Select the item "Variables"
4) Press Yes to validate the project
5) In the dialog that appears, select "Cross Reference by Variable Name"
6) Press OK
The result will be a list of your variables in alphabetical order and all the references to each variable in a table.
