Is it possible to power up a 600V rated drive with 480V input and then output 600V for a 600V rated motor?
Issue:
Viability of powering up a drive rated for 600V with 480V input and output 600V to the motor

Product Line:
Altivar drives

Environment:
All

Cause:
N/A

Resolution:
No.  Such a configuration is a misapplication of the VFD.
The voltage supply and the motor voltage rating need to match.  The only exception is a limited offering of ATV12 that accept 120Vac supply and produce 230Vac output.
