What is the difference between ACC and tLS when configuring ATS22 soft starter?

Article available in these languages: Spanish

Issue:
Distinction between ACC and tLS parameters on ATS22.

Product Line:
Altistart 22 ATS22

Environment:
All

Cause:
There 2 different settings for the acceleration ramp time.

Resolution:
ACC [acceleration] = time to ramp from 0 to 60hz when a run command is given. The full inrush of the motor has to drop at the end of the ACC Ramp, before the motor is dropped to the shorting contactor. tLS [Max Start Time]  is time to ramp from 0 until the motor is dropped to the internal shorting contactor, thus has to be longer than ACC.
