How can you set up the ATV21 or ATV212 drive to follow a 0 - 5Vdc speed reference signal?
Issue:
How can you set up the ATV21 or ATV212 drive to follow a 0 - 5Vdc speed reference signal?

Product Line:
Altivar ATV21, ATV212 and S-flex drive

Environment:
All

Cause:
Speed reference input on VIB to be 0 - 5Vdc, not the default 0 - 10Vdc

Resolution:
The VIB analog input is scaled with parameters F210 thru F213, based on a rated 10Vdc maximum input.  Assign reference points as follows:

Reference point 1
F210 = 0% (of the 10Vdc max, 0Vdc)
F211 = 0Hz

Reference point 2
F212 = 50% (of the 10Vdc max, 5Vdc)
F213 = 60Hz

On the ATV212 drive, set DIP switch SW100 for VIB to the left (U).
Set FMOd = 2
