Issue
- Disabling one or both processors DIO Ethernet ports ETH2 or ETH3 (in the Switch tab in the processors configuration screen) causes the BMEAHI0810 not to go into Run after a power cycle of the system.
- If both ETH2 or ETH3 ports are Enable, the AHI will go into Run after a power cycle.
Product Line
M580, BMEAHI0810
Resolution
On M580 CPUs model 20, all Ethernet ports including the backplane have to be enabled for the BMEAHI0810 to function properly.
On M580 CPUs model 40, the backplane has to be opened, but for the 3 ports on CPU front panel it requires only the one connected to PC (service port) to be opened during commission. The other two ports can be disabled.
