Issue:
What causes an SLF3 fault on an ATV600 or ATV900 series drive?
Product Line:
ATV600 / ATV900 / Altivar
Environment:
Altivar Machine
Cause:
Hardware profile change after programming.
Resolution:
SLF3 occurs when the drive has programming entered to support controlling the drive via the keypad, and the keypad has been removed. This fault indicates that there is programming in the drive to support hardware (the keypad) that the drive can not see connected.
To correct this, either change the programming of the drive so that is it not using the keypad to control the drive, or make sure the keypad remains connected to the drive any time the drive has power.
