[M580 safety] how to transfer data between Safety and Process area
To pass data between the safe and process namespaces, follow these steps:
1- In the Variables tab of the Global Data Editor, create a new variable:
Enter the new variable Name.
Select a data Type.
NOTE: This variable is an unlocated variable.

2- In the Interface tab of the Process Data Editor, create a new variable. If this variable will be the:
Sender of data, create it in the <outputs> part of the data editor.
Receiver of data, create it in the <inputs> part of the data editor.

3- For the new variable created in the Interface tab of the Process Data Editor:
Enter the new variable Name.
Select the same data Type as the variable created in the Global Data Editor in step 1, above.
In the Effective Parameter column, select the name of the globally scoped variable you created in step 1, above.
NOTE: If the Effective Parameter column is not visible, right-click on the column header bar, select Customize Columns..., then select Effective Parameter and click OK.

4- In the Interface tab of the Safety Data Editor, create a new variable. If this variable will be the:
Sender of data, create it in the <outputs> part of the data editor.
Receiver of data, create it in the <inputs> part of the data editor.
NOTE: If you selected <outputs> in step 2, select <inputs> here; if you selected, <inputs> in step2, select <outputs> here.

5- For the new variable created in the Interface tab of the Safety Data Editor:
Enter the new variable Name.
Select the same data Type as the variable created in the Global Data Editor in step 1, above.
In the Effective Parameter column, select the name of the globally scoped variable you created in step 1, above.
