Customer is experiencing an EPFI fault on their ATV340 series drive.

Resolution:
Review the External Error assignment in the Error/Warning handling menu. If EtF [Ext Error Assign} is set to anything other than No:not assigned (default), investigate the assigned input or bit to see what is triggering the External Error.
If EtF is set to No, the EPF1 is triggered due to a communication issue.

Event triggered by an wired to a digital input or triggered by a bit via communication network.
An external error has been triggered via Embedded Ethernet.
Resolution:
Review the External Error assignment in the Error/Warning handling menu. If EtF [Ext Error Assign} is set to anything other than No:not assigned (default), investigate the assigned input or bit to see what is triggering the External Error.
If EtF is set to No, the EPF1 is triggered due to a communication issue.
Possible causes include:
- duplicate IP address on the network
- improper IP address/subnet mask/gateway settings
- FDR (Fast Device Replacement) error
- Incorrect Drive configuration when using ODVA assemblies 20/70 or 21/71
