How do I communicate to the OsiSense XG smart antenna with M580?

To use the DTM, you first need to download the EDS "Ethernet RFID smart antenna XGCS850xx_V21_EDS_file (Version 21)" from the OsiSense XG smart antenna product page:

You then need to add it to the DTM library in Control Expert, then restart Control Expert or manually update the DTM library for the change to take effect.
Then add a new DTM to your project in the DTM browser and select the XGCS850C201 Revision 2.1 (From EDS).
Go to the parent DTM to change the IP address, build the project, load the M580, and put it in RUN mode.
Open the DDT for the OsiSense device in an animation table. Monitor the Tag_Family_present_tag_system and the UID# as you touch a proximity tag to the RFID antenna.
These should change and the Tag_counter should increase with each subsequent tag.
