Issue:
Looking for an example on how to control the transparency of an object with a BOOL.
Product Line:
EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert
Resolution:
In order to control the transparency of an object with a BOOL, you must make use of a Converter that takes the value of the BOOL to output an Integer value that represents the percentage of Transparency.
1) To begin create a converter under the Convertor section in EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert.
2) Next, create a BOOL variable to use with the converter
3) In the object you wish to control the transparency, attach the BOOL variable at the Transparency property. While adding the BOOL, be sure to enable the Converter
When the BOOL is False, the object will appear normal. When the BOOL is true, the object will be 50% transparent. NOTE: You can set your own value of transparency in the converter.
