Safety function expansion module

Resolution:
The VW3A3802 is an advanced machine safety function expansion module for the ATV340 and ATV900 series. https://www.se.com/ww/en/product/VW3A3802/safety-module-advanced-electronic-card%2C-apm%2C-24-v-dc/

This adds Safe Stop 1 (SS1), Safe Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Maximum Speed (SMS) and Safe Brake Control (SBC)  to the machine safety functions in the drive.

Hardware Requirements:
•    If this module is used with the ATV900 series, a VW3A3800 adaptor is required to provide the specific mounting slot for this module. It cannot be mounted into the standard expansion slots on the drive.
•    If this module is used with the ATV340 series size D30 or higher, a VW3A3800 adaptor is required to provide the specific mounting slot for this module. It cannot be mounted into the standard expansion slots on the drive.
•    Optionally a VW3M8810 ESM distribution unit can be used to simplify termination of the safety inputs.

Drive Firmware Requirements:
The Safety module requires a specific version of firmware to be active on the drive to be compatible. Earlier or later firmware versions will not operate with the Advanced Safety Module VW3A3802.

For ATV900: FW V2.1 IE81
For ATV340: FW V1.6 IE81
