Why sometimes Facility Expert does not retrieve the projects exported from EPC?
Ecostruxure Power Commission(EPC) can export project to any Facility Expert(FE) user, but in following cases FE user cannot receive the exported project and it gives user error message: "Unsuccessful. Please retry"
  1. If the project has been exported previously to other Facility Expert user.
  2. If one of the asset in the switchboard exists already in another Facility Expert user account, then the entire switchboard cannot be exported.
  3. If the designated Facility Expert user does not have "Manager" role in FE, he/she cannot receive the exported project-In this case make the user as manager and then transfer.
  4. Your project or switchboard has Com’X 210 or Com’X 510 or any other Gateway like PAS800 or PAS600 as one of the assets where EPC does not know the serial number of the gateways. You need to do below(example for Com'X gateway):
  1. First “connect” the Com’X 201/510 in EPC and login by entering username and password. Doing this , EPC will read the serial number of the gateway and when asset transfer is done, it will be successful.
  2. If it is a brand new Com’X 210/510, it is mandatory that you login to the Com’X with default password and change the default password of the Com’X. After this, the above step a) should be followed
5. If the user is not yet registered in Facility Expert.
