Adding a second BMENOP300 to the rack results in the power consumption to be exceeded for the BMXCPS3500.

Adding a second BMENOP0300 module to an existing rack that contains a BMENOC03xx module (i.e., BMENOC0311, etc.) with three other IO modules will result in the power consumption being exceeded for a BMXCPS3500 power supply.

i.e.,

rack

The issue occurred as a result of Control Expert basing the power consumption for the BMENOC03xx modules on the most restrictive value of 1.8A for the old hardware version (<=PV14).. as shown in the Control Expert  help.

The total consumption for the BMENOC311 and the two BMENOP0300 added to the rack results in a value of 4.922A.  This exceeded the limit of 4.5A for a BMXCPS3500.

The newer hardware version (>PV14), uses 0.9A as shown in the help. If the user is certain that the PV version for the BMENOC03xx module is greater than 14, A value of 1.8A can be subtracted from the value shown in the power supply bar graph (in red) and a value of add 0.9A can then be added to the resulting sum. The new power consumption value would then be 4.022A.  Otherwise, it is recommended to use a larger sized power supply (i.e.,'BMXCPS4002).
