Solution
The Com’X supports up to 64 total devices which means Com'X will only log data for 64 devices, however Com'X has restriction even for Ethernet devices up to 32 as a maximum simultaneously TCP connections into gateway.

Therefore, if there are maximum 32 Ethernet Devices connected to Com'X, at the same time another maximum 32 Serial devices can be connected to reach the limit of 64 devices.

Based on standard, Com'X RS485 serial port supports up to 32 serial devices unless there is a signal repeater and Com'X has not reached the limit of 64 devices.

It is important to note that there is a difference between how many addresses that can be supported and how many devices that can truly be integrated. Performance of the Com’X clearly depends on how many complex devices are integrated and how often the information needs to be updated and published.

For critical applications less Modbus devices are recommended.
