Yes, it is possible if the PC has a floating license provided that the following conditions are met.
  • The Enterprise License Server must be installed on a Windows server operating system.  A desktop standard Windows operating system cannot be used.
  • On a server operating system several usage rights of a floating license for Control Expert must be activated, making this server the Enterprise License Server (ELS)
  • On the same server operating system several sessions (with individual login) can run in parallel, at the same time.
  • In each such session a separate instance of Control Expert is running will consume one usage right of the floating license for Control Expert hosted on the ELS
  • Each of those instance can be connected to from remote PCs via a terminal session.
