Usually when the trip sequence syntax is incorrect, or references an item that cannot be found, Geo SCADA Expert replaces the sequence with a diagnostic message when it redirects the alarm. However, sometimes %O trip characters return with just a blank message instead of a value or diagnostic message (As it can be seen in the picture below). Only the incorrect permissions would cause this behavior, in all other situations, errors would be brought up.
The main reason for data or diagnostic messages to be missing is usually related to permission issues. If the email is being redirected to a user that does not have permission to see the data, it will be omitted from the email. All other failure scenarios would add an error to the email message.
