How do I start manual self test for APC Back UPS Floor/Wall mount such as BE1050G3,BE900G3,BE700G3 and BE500G3?

Issue:  UPS models, BE1050G3,BE900G3,BE700G3 and BE500G3  do not support starting a manual self-test using the power button located on the side panel of the UPS.

Product Line: BE1050G3,BE900G3,BE700G3 and BE500G3

Resolution:  UPS models BE1050G3,BE900G3,BE700G3 and BE500G3  will perform an automatic self-test when the UPS is turned on.

NOTE: UPS models specifically BE1050G3 and BE900G3 support manual self-test issued via PowerChute Serial Shutdown. Need to install PCSS or PowerChute Serial Shutdown to command UPS for manual self test.

Kindly do refer below for the basic steps./procedures of performing manual self test via PCSS (PowerChute Serial Shutdown) for BE1050G3 and BE900G3:

STEP1: Go to Product Description "Back UPS BE1050G3" then click "Diagnostics" to proceed with the next step.

STEP2: Proceed to diagnostic action and select "Self Test".

STEP3: After selecting the preferred action, kindly click "Apply" to initiate self test.
