PowerChute Serial Shutdown does not report a self-test has run when connected to a Back-UPS.
Issue:
PowerChute Serial Shutdown does not report when a self-test has been run when connected to a Back-UPS if a user presses and holds the Back-UPS's power on button to trigger a self-test. Also, a Back-UPS will run a self-test every 14 days from the date/time of the last self-test. When the UPS triggers the scheduled self-test, PowerChute will not record that the test has been run.

NOTE: If you initiate a UPS self-test via the PowerChute UI diagnostics page for Back-UPS models, the result may return as “Unknown.” If this occurs, then try initiating the self-test again. If the issue persists, your Back-UPS may not support manual self-tests. See Schneider Electric FAQ000266376 Self-test fails on Back-UPS when the test is run from PowerChute Serial Shutdown
