Issue:
Fr-F or Fr-r monitoring menu on ATV212.
Product Line:
ATV212 Altivar 212
Environment:
All part numbers
Cause:
Drive displays Fr-F or Fr-r
Resolution:
Fr-F indicates the direction of rotation for the motor is Forward
Fr-r indicates the direction of rotation for the motor is Reverse
If operating in Local mode (from the keypad), the direction of rotation is controlled by the setting of the Fr [Local mot. direction] parameter.
Default setting for this parameter is 0: Forward only.
Other options are:
1: Reverse only
2: Forward by default, Reverse selectable
3: Reverse by default, Forward selectable.
If Fr is set to 2 or 3:
You select Forward by pressing the Up Arrow key while holding in the ENT key.
You select Reverse by pressing the Down Arrow key while holding in the ENT key.
Note that if the remote keypad is used in Local mode, the FWD/REV key will toggle between Forward and Reverse operation.
The drive will store the last operating direction after fault or power loss.
