ELECTRON aims to provide and demonstrate a next generation of an Electric Power and Energy Systems (EPES) platform, which enhances the resilience of energy systems to cyber attacks, privacy and data through four pillars (risk assessment, anomaly detection, fault mitigation and power restoration) by fostering standardization and certification of cyber protection through three new authorities: the cyber security beacon, the cyber security training and certification authority and the energy trading centre.
Funded by Horizon Europe programme of the European Commission (grant agreement no. 101021936), the project scheduled to be carried out from October 2021 to September 2024 has a budget of €10.2M.
