The 3-year EMC2 (Embedded Multi-Core Systems for Mixed Criticality Applications in Dynamic and Changeable Real-Time Environments) project aims to foster development through an innovative and sustainable service-oriented architecture approach. The project enables full-scale deployment of scalable and flexible solutions for:
- Dynamic adaptability in open systems.
- Cost-effective utilization of high-end system features as service-on-demand.
- Handling of mixed criticality applications under real-time conditions.
- Full life-cycle management of integrated toolchains.
Co-funded by ARTEMIS and National European Authorities of 19 European countries, and the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Tourism, the project (Grant agreement no: 621429 and national reference number ART-010000-2014-1) has a €93M budget and will last from April 2014 to March 2017.
Partners: 99 partners from 19 European countries, including EADS, Telvent Energía, Fraunhofer, Siemens, Freescale, CEA, Rockwell, Thales, Tecnalia, Ericsson, ABB, and Philips.
