The 5-year GrowSmarter (transforming cities for a smart, sustainable Europe) project brings together cities and industry to integrate and demonstrate ‘12 smart city solutions’ in energy, infrastructure and transport, to provide other cities with opportunities for replication, and valuable insights on how the solutions work in practice.
The idea is to create a ready market for these smart solutions to support growth and the transition to a smart, sustainable Europe.
Funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program under grant agreement No. 646456, this project has an €25M budget and will last from January 2015 to December 2019.
