INERSEC (2012 – 2014)

The 3-year INERSEC (Energy Infrastructure Protection for the Smart City) project aimed to develop security capabilities for the electrical network control systems of smart cities. The new security system included intrusion detection and prevention as well as control and monitoring of critical assets.

Funded by Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Tourism under the Avanza Competitividad subprogram (TSI-020604-2012-5), the project had a €912K budget.
