Barbara FREI

Executive Vice President, Industrial Automation

Barbara leads Schneider Electric’s global Industrial Automation Business and has served on the company’s Executive Committee since 2019. Barbara joined Schneider Electric in 2016 as Country President of Germany, and expanded her scope to Zone President of DACH in 2017 (including Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In 2019, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Europe Operations and a member of the Executive Committee. Barbara started her career as a development project manager for motors and drives at ABB Schweiz AG. She held various senior management positions in the ABB Group, including regional responsibility as Country Manager Czech Republic, Regional Manager for the Mediterranean in Italy, and leadership of the worldwide drives business. Barbara holds a PhD in Electrical Machines from ETH Zurich, and an MBA from IMD Lausanne.

Manish KUMAR

EVP Digital Energy

Manish Kumar is the Executive Vice-President of the Digital Energy business at Schneider Electric responsible for driving growth & innovation and helping customers digitize and decarbonize their operations. Manish brings a unique blend of strategy, technology & international experience to his role with over 15 years of transformational leadership in Corporate Strategy, Smart Buildings & Critical Infrastructure and Solar businesses at Schneider Electric. Before Manish joined Schneider Electric, he worked as a Software Engineer and Business consultant for Infosys. Manish holds advanced management degrees from Harvard Business School and HEC Paris and Mechanical engineering from Thapar university. Manish has been an active member of the Supervisory Board of Planon since 2023. He is also a board member of Flare Education, a non-profit focused on tackling generational poverty through high school workforce development. His bold idea? Let’s shape technology to enable ordinary people to do extraordinary things and make the world a more sustainable place.

Nathalie MARCOTTE

SVP and President of Process Automation Business

Nathalie Marcotte joined Schneider Electric in 1996 (acquired from Invensys). As the President of Process Automation Business, she is responsible for the company’s services business and offer development, ranging from product supports to advanced operational and digital services. She is also responsible for the company’s Global Cybersecurity Services & Solutions business, including product security and the Product Security Office. She has a master’s degree in Applied Sciences to complement an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Nathalie possesses solid experience in a diverse range of P&L management; business development; services strategy and marketing planning; staff recruitment, deployment and motivation; OT cybersecurity; finance, project management, engineering / customer services; and supply chain management. Nathalie has held numerous leadership roles within the organization, including vice president of Global Performance & Consulting Services; vice president, North America marketing; General Manager for the Canadian business; and prior to her current position, vice president, marketing, Global Systems Business. Before joining Schneider Electric, Nathalie spent almost a decade at ABB Canada, including serving in senior marketing and engineering roles. Having successfully managed cultural differences, she has proven leadership in developing and motivating teams to achieve business objectives while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Nathalie and her husband Daniel reside in Montreal, Quebec.
