Biography

Laurent Bataille is Executive Vice President, France Operations, and Member of the Executive Committee of Schneider Electric.

Laurent started his career at Schneider Electric in the Corporate Strategy & Acquisitions department.

Since 2019, he was Executive Vice President Digital Energy Division of Schneider Electric. From 2014 to 2018, Laurent oversaw the EcoBuilding Division in Boston (USA). Prior to this role, from 2011 to 2014, Laurent was based in Canada as Senior Vice President of the Solar Business of Schneider Electric.

Since joining Schneider in 2004, he has held several senior leadership roles including Vice President of the CST Industry Division from 2008 to 2011. From 2006 to 2008, he was General Manager CST Industry Americas.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Laurent was a consultant for McKinsey & Company.

Laurent holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique (France).
