Biography

Manish leads International Operations at Schneider Electric and is part of its Executive Committee. International Operations is a multibillion-euro operation with 50,000 employees in 95 countries spanning the Pacific, India, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.  

Manish has been at Schneider Electric for over 25 years and has worked in operational and strategic roles. Prior to his current appointment, Manish was Zone President for the East Asia region. From 2014 to 2021, he was Executive Vice President (EVP) for Schneider Electric’s Home and Distribution division, bringing solutions to residential and small business customers through a network of distributors and electricians. In this role, he also led the company’s e-commerce business.  

Previously, Manish was Managing Director of Schneider Electric’s Luminous subsidiary in India and also the Country President of Thailand. Prior to that, he led joint venture companies in China’s energy sector. 

Manish started his career at Larsen & Toubro Ltd India, where he spent six years leading Sales and Marketing for the Electrical Business Group. He also held various positions across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, and India. 

Manish has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and he has completed leadership programs from Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Manish is based in Singapore.
