Why would the ATV Altivar drive reset back to a factory default when you plug in the CANopen network cable?

Issue:
Altivar drives are resetting back to a factory default when you plug in the CANopen network cable.

Product Line:
Altivar ATV31, ATV312, ATV61, ATV71, ATV32

Environment:
All with CANopen network

Cause:
The drive configuration is reset back to factory default.

Resolution:
1.) Verify that the PLC is not communicating to the command word CMI address 8504.  Setting Bit 0 to 1 will reset the drive back to a factory default.
2.) Verify that the Bootup Procedure Configuration in the PLC does not have "Restore all parameters" selected. Make sure this is NOT selected.
