The Resolution Provides detailed steps in Windows Command Prompt window to Export ClearSCADA Historic Data to CSV Format

1- Access ClearSCADA Server Command Line tool
A- Open a Command Prompt window in Microsoft Windows®.
B- Use the "cd" command to change the directory to where ClearSCADA Server Command Line Tool, "SCXCmd.exe", is installed. The Tool is installed in the same directory as other ClearSCADA
installation files. The default location of these files varies depending on Windows operating system.

ExampleIf ClearSCADA is installed at the default location on a 64-bit machine that is running Windows 7, you will enter:

cd c:\program files (x86)\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA




2- Export Historic Files ".HRD" to ".CSV" Format files
A- In ClearSCADA Server command line tool, you can enter :SCXCMD HISDUMP ".HRD File Name"

Example"WK021715.HRD" is the File name and is locating at "C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\Database\History\Historic\HdI02382\609845"

In ClearSCADA commnad line tool, you can enter :

SCXCMD HISDUMP "C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\Database\History\Historic\HdI02382\609845\WK021715.HRD"


B- .CSV format file with the same name will be created in the same path as shown below, this file can be opened in various packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Notepad.



3-Multiple Historic Files".HRD" Files can be converted into .CSV Format at the same time as follows
A- In ClearSCADA Server Command line tool , you can enter: SCXCMD HISDUMP "File Name\*HRD" where File name is the Folder name which contains multiple .HRD Files
Example"609847" is the Folder name which contains multiple .HRD Files (WK021711.HRD, WK021712.HRD, WK021715.HRD, and WK021716.HRD) and is locating at "C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\Database\History\Historic\HdI02382"

In ClearSCADA Command Line tool, you can enter

SCXCMD HISDUMP "C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\Database\History\Historic\HdI02382\609847\*HRD"


B- .CSV format files with the same names will be created in the same path as shown below, those files can be opened in various packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Notepad.
