Samwoh Corporation is Singapore’s leading engineering and construction firm, notable for investing in new technologies to achieve innovative and sustainable results. They work with our EcoXperts and implement the EcoStruxure Building solution to enable maximized energy efficiency, better visibility, and control of the building’s energy utilization.

To centralize operations in Singapore by unifying its facilities, Samwoh needed to come up with energy-efficient and smart features. Hence the vision for the Samwoh Smart Hub was clear from the beginning - to become Singapore’s first positive energy industrial building - a building that generates more energy than it uses.

Samwoh entrusted Schneider Electric, EcoXpert, and DG Energy Controls to deploy the next-generation building management system (BMS) – EcoStruxure Building Operation. It is an open, connected, and complete ecosystem of smart devices, software, apps, and services. We also deployed our electric vehicles (EV) charging station - EVlink Smart Wallbox - to expand the Smart Hub’s EV capabilities.

Samwoh used these solutions to achieve utility savings and increase its energy efficiency by up to 50%. The facility also reports an Energy Efficiency Index of less than 60 kWh per meter square per year. By partnering with major industry entities, Samwoh aims to set examples for the industrial building sector in achieving the nation’s 80-80-80 in 2030.
