Held the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC) from 7-11 November 2022, the Africa Tech Festival 2022, and its anchor events AfricaCom and AfricaTech, has the last 25 years become one of foremost ICT events on the African continent.
Schneider Electric is excited to bring Chamayou to the event to present his valuable insights on, among others, how companies need to leverage the power of connected infrastructure to establish more sustainable, efficient, adaptive, and resilient datacentres for today and the future.
The Africa Tech Festival 2022 will also showcase Schneider Electric’s newly modernised software architecture EcoStruxure IT.
“With the continued and accelerated proliferation of hybrid IT environments, business continuity has become non-negotiable, whether it’s a small end point or a large datacentre,” says Jonathan Duncan, Secure Power VP, Anglophone Africa at Schneider Electric.
“To meet companies’ business continuity challenges, we recently announced the modernisation of EcoStruxure IT, our vendor-neutral software platform that meets the needs of the DCIM 3.0 (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) trend.”
Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure IT features:
- Monitoring and management - device management for power and cooling devices as well as physical security and environmental monitoring.
- Planning and modelling for visualisation, asset tracking, simulation, and change management for over 4000 devices.
- Custom solutions and integration - tailored solutions to address customer requirements through automated reporting, dashboards, migrations, and custom integration with EcoStruxure IT and third-party systems or software.
Chamayou will present What will Datacentres of the Future look like on Wednesday, 9 November 2022 at the Nerina Hall from 11:55 to 12:10. The Schneider Electric exhibition featuring live demonstrations of EcoStruxure IT will be in Hall 4, Stand C100.
