Issue:
AO1 is not sending out signal on ATV61/71
Product line:
Altivar 61, 71, ATV61 and ATV71
Environment:
All models, all serial numbers
Cause:
No signal from AO1 terminal.
Resolution:
Check the AO1 assignment under Drive menu > 1.5 Inputs/Outputs Config > AO1 Configuration. The default assignment is Motor Freq. If assigned to No, you will not see an output signal.
Verify the AO1 Type, AO1 Min Output and AO1 Max Output match the expected signal (i.e. 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA).
Check under Drive Menu > 1.2 Monitoring > Analog Outputs Image to see if a signal is present. Using a meter, check the AO1 to COM terminals for a matched signal.
