Drive Will Not Connect

Drive Will Not Connect
- Card
- Confirm Card Module is installed. The ATV600 drive (only) has integrated Modbus TCP and not Ethernet IP. Option module card must be used.
- Only works with Firmware V1.5IExx or above for ATV600 drives only. Should work on any ATV900 drive.
- Installation
- Make sure proper Ethernet cable is connected to the appropriate Ethernet serial port.
- Pin Layout - Make sure to use proper pinouts for cables.

- Isolate any electrical interference
- Use conduits or other isolating materials
- Separate control and power connections
- Add terminating resistors if the drive is at the end or the last of device in the network.
- Network
- Check for any duplicate addresses on the network.
- Check to make sure you have proper configured assemblies
- Programming
- Check Basic Settings on the drive. Make sure the following is set:
- IP Assignment Mode
- Set to Fixed
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Gateway Address
- IP Assignment Mode
- Check Basic Settings on the drive. Make sure the following is set:

- Network
- Verify you can read from the drive
- Verify reading and writing to correct Modbus registers
- Programming on the Drive
- Confirm drive is setup for Network Control
- Check Command and Reference Menu

- Important Note!: For ATV600 drives only, the Ethernet IP option is a Communication Module it is not Embedded. When selecting option for Ethernet IP use the option for "Reference Frequency Via Fieldbus Module" [Com. Module] not [Embedded Ethernet]
