Trying to open a Schneider application, via the License Manager tool a Control Expert windows is displayed. You are informed that it is impossible to find an active license and propose to open the Schneider Electric License Manager tool.
To investigate such issue several actions must be done to collect diagnostic that you must address to your local technical support. To find this address, click on buttons Help then Support.
Diagnostic to collect:
Mainly two files, License Manager_reg.log, LMBrickX.dll and one folder FLEXnet
The License Manager_reg.log file with log level 5.
For getting it please go to Local Disk (C:) and search for “LMBrickX.dll”
Copy to the folder FLEXnet
For getting it please go to C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet and copy everything on a ZIP file.

- Start License Manager (LM) with administrator right, click right on License Manager’s icon and select RUN as Administrator.
- Click on “Help” -> “Show Log File of License Manager …” a new screen opens.
- Select for “Current Log Level” “5 Maximum” a window is displayed warning you about possible impact on performance, Click on “Yes”
- Close License Manger and replay steep 1 and 2
- Select for “Display” “All Entries”
- Select “Select Log File in File System”, doing this a new folder opens and file License Manager_reg.log highlighted.
