In line with Oman's national commitment to a sustainable future, Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, hosted its largest-ever Innovation Day Oman event on May 28 in Muscat.
The event united over 300 industry professionals, including Omani customers, partners, and government officials, to explore the latest advancements in energy management, digitization and automation technologies, designed to increase energy efficiency and energy savings.
Innovation Day Oman 2024 comprised of several important discussions including a welcome address by Amel Chadli, Schneider Electric‘s President for Gulf Countries, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving innovation for a sustainable future as well as opening remarks delivered by Her Excellency Véronique Aulagnon, Ambassador of France to Oman, and Dr. Talal Al Aulaqi, Vice President, Energy Excellence at OQ Alternative Energy, who highlighted Oman's commitment to the energy transition.

Ahmed Fateen, Commercial Vice President, UAE & Oman, Schneider Electric, delivered a presentation on ‘Innovation for Impact’, outlining megatrends that are reshaping our world and what it means for the future of our business. He also delved into the strong partnerships on transformational projects through our local presence in Oman for more than 30 years. The event also featured a fireside chat between Mahmoud Shehada, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of The Sustainable City - Yiti and Yasser Ahmed, Vice President of Buildings, Gulf Countries, Schneider Electric, exploring the role of smart technologies in shaping sustainable communities in Oman.
At the event, Schneider Electric showcased its latest technologies in energy management and automation for Buildings, Power & Grids, Data Centers, Homes and Industry.
