Peter Herweck is Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. Peter became Schneider’s chief executive in May 2023, returning to take the helm of the company after having served as CEO of the industrial software group AVEVA since May 2021. Peter first joined Schneider Electric in 2016 when he was appointed to the Executive Committee to lead the Industrial Automation business. In 2018, he undertook the merger of Schneider’s Industrial Software business with AVEVA. After starting his career as a Software Development Engineer with Mitsubishi in Japan, Peter joined Siemens where he held various executive positions before becoming Chief Strategy Officer. Peter’s background also includes senior management in the US, Japan, China, and several European countries, as well as extensive global responsibilities.  Peter holds an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business, and Electrical Engineering degrees from Metz University, France and Saarland University, Germany. He is also a Harvard Business School Advanced Management alumnus.

Jean-Pascal Tricoire is the Chairman of Schneider Electric. He previously served as COO of Schneider from 2003, CEO from 2006 to 2011, and Chairman and CEO from 2011 to 2023. Under Jean-Pascal’s leadership, Schneider has transformed and become a technology company leading in software, sustainability, digitization, and electrification. As CEO, he redefined the company’s purpose and technology portfolio, quadrupling Schneider’s revenues across its balanced geographical footprint. Jean-Pascal joined Schneider Electric in 1986 and held various positions across France, Italy, China, South Africa, the United States, and Hong Kong. In 2001, he first joined the company’s Executive Committee to take charge of Schneider’s international division. Jean-Pascal also serves as an independent director on the board of Qualcomm. He is a director of the worldwide board of the United Nations Global Compact, a United Nations #HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion, and a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum as well as the Asia Business Council. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Northeastern University. Jean-Pascal is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Singapore Economic Development Board and a member of the advisory councils of Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He led the France-China Business Council from 2009 to 2019. He is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and an Officer of the National Order of Merit in France. Deepak Sharma is the Zone President, Greater India and MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India (SEIPL).  He has 30 years of experience with 25 years at Schneider Electric handling diverse roles based out of India, France, China, and the USA across Energy Management & Industrial Automation businesses. Starting in India as a Product Manager for Industrial Automation & Power Products business, Deepak has managed various global roles working across hubs of Schneider Electric in France, China, and the USA - in both Energy Management and Industrial Automation businesses. His journey took full circle when he moved back to India in 2019 and led the integration of L&T Electrical and Automation Business with Schneider Electric as SVP, Mergers & Acquisition. This integration was a key enabler in making India the 3rd largest market and one of the four global hubs of Schneider Electric with 37000 employees and 30+ factories.  Deepak champions the usage & adoption of energy-efficient and green technologies. He aims to contribute towards a more sustainable, more electric, more digital business and societal environment.   He has graduate and postgraduate degrees, and diplomas in management & Electrical Engineering and is successfully trained, through executive education programs of IIM-Ahmedabad, INSEAD France, and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, USA.  Deepak actively engages with industrial bodies and associations. He is currently Vice Chair, CII National Committee on Smart Cities & Urban Development and a Governing Council Member of Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFFCI).

Binu Philip is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Greater India Zone at Schneider Electric. His expertise lies in areas of HR Strategy, Organization Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Change Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Organization Transformation. Binu has been with Schneider Electric for over seven years wherein he has worked as the HR Leader for Global R&D in India and was responsible for spearheading the M&A of the L&T Electrical Automation business with Schneider Electric. Prior to this appointment, Binu was the Vice Presider HR for the International Operations for the Secure Power Division of the company across the territories of Asia Pacific & Japan, Middle East & Africa, India, South America, and CIS. Before joining Schneider Electric, Binu managed senior HR leadership roles in leading organizations such as Microsoft Corporation, Aditya Birla Group (Idea Cellular), and RPG Enterprises (Harrisons Malayalam Plantations Ltd). A post-graduate in Human Resources (MA PM & IR), Binu has over 30 years of rich HR leadership experience across various industry domains including IT & Digital Technologies, Commercial Operations, Telecom, and Technology Services.

Rajat Abbi has over 18 years of cross-industry experience. A thought leader and a strategic marketing expert, he has handled diverse leadership roles in Marketing & Strategy, Sales and P&L Management with European, American, and Indian multi-national companies across India & Asia Pacific region. Rajat joins Schneider Electric as the Vice President, Global Marketing India & Chief Marketing Officer - Greater India, this year, and is entrusted with running the marketing function for the company, thereby, driving brand, digital & commercial excellence and helping the organization achieve its growth ambitions. He will be a part of the Schneider Electric Global Marketing International Operations Leadership team, Schneider Electric India Management team and Schneider Electric India Private Limited (SEIPL) Leadership Council. Starting his career with Apollo Tyres, Rajat has worked across B2C & B2B businesses in companies like Valvoline International, Philips Lighting & Carrier Air-conditioning. Rajat holds a master’s degree in Marketing, Finance & Economics from the University of Delhi, India.

A prolific business leader with 26 years of experience in running and managing businesses across domains & customer segments, working with Schneider Electric for 18 years. Currently leading Corporate Strategy & Sustainability for Schneider India with a focus on future-proofing businesses, incubating ideas, championing Energy Efficiency & Sustainable development vision (ESG) of Schneider Electric.  Instrumental in winning prestigious awards like the CII-ITC Sustainability Award, Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency & Sustainability, Frost & Sullivan Best practices award for Emerging Energy Management Solutions Provider, and National CSR Award 2019 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Venkat was awarded as India’s most influential Sustainability leader of India in 2018 by a leading CSR & Sustainability organization in India. Venkat is passionate about Sustainable Development, Rural Electrification, Climate change & other areas of ESG. Currently the board member of Schneider Electric India Foundation (SEIF). An Electrical Engineer with a master’s in business management specializing in Marketing, Energy Efficiency & Climate Sciences.
