A Burner Management System, or BMS, is a safety system that ensures that process burners are started, operated, and shut off safely. The Burner Management System safeguards your combustion equipment and adjacent regions by preventing explosions and other accidents. Combustion equipment such as burners, boilers, and furnaces are vital in many operational facilities. The Burner Management System will check for safe operating conditions during each start. If any of these requirements are not satisfied, it will pause the starting procedure and notify the operator of the potentially dangerous situation.
