Job Description

What will you do?

 

This position as a Security Access Controls Technician will support the needs of a growing business. There will be several months of training and you will be training alongside other security technicians to ensure you are comfortable and confident before you will be handling shifts independently. This individual must be customer focused with a desire and focus to learn and grow within the company. 

 

Responsibilites:

 

  • Troubleshoot and repair our security systems independently
  • Implement hardware and software applications for assigned customers 
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on installed systems
  • Install, commission, and check-out of new security systems
  • Coordinate activities of subcontractors, as needed
  • Complete documentation for assigned tasks

  •        Our MPA Security Service Agreement Manager 

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

 

  • High School Diploma or Technical High School
  • 2+ years of experience in Building Management Systems controls business preferred
  • Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and security systems
  • Knowledge of security equipment operation and maintenance
  • Have a high focus on customer service and satisfaction
