Job Description

Schneider Electric is hiring a Senior Launch Manager. The Launch Manager plays a critical role in launching new power products in the North American market, with responsibility for developing and executing launch strategy for the +$3B portfolio ranging from standard products such as SquareD branded circuit breakers, safety switches, contactors to highly engineered low voltage and medium voltage power distribution solutions such as switchboards and switchgear. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless market entry for our offers through adept project/program management in an Agile environment, fostering consensus, and effectively coordinating resources from cross-funcional teams.

 

What will you do?

  • Develop comprehensive launch strategies and collaborate on country-specific launch plans for the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Apply Schneider Electric’s offer launch process to all launches, including inputs, timelines, and key deliverables from cross-functional teams, while managing multiple launches simultaneously.
  • Chair regular launch team meetings, assign action items, assess launch readiness, identify and resolve roadblocks promptly
  • Maintain a calendar of planned future launches, communicating and educating the stakeholders on the launch process.
  • Take the lead in creating launch package in collaboration with NAM hub marketers product owners and commercial teams
  • Drive internal awareness and communication of the launches among Power Products global and NAM teams, NAM Ops, and partner with marketing on communication to NAM partners & end users
  • Assist in attaining revenue growth during the initial post-launch period through ongoing sales, partner enablement, and marketing programs.

Who will you report to?

The Senior Launch Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product owners, scrum masters, marketers from NAM Hub leagues, country ops product management and channel teams. You will report to the NAM Hub Marketing Director.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • 8+ years’ experience in project management, product management and/or marketing with a demonstrated history of managing complex projects and holding stakeholders accountable
  • Proven success in launching new products into the market from inception to completion
  • Experience in the power distribution industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and product development cycle
  • Highly driven self-starter with excellent communication skills and organization skills
  • Able to effectively operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple functions
  • Proficient troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, communication or relevant fields
