Job Description

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,000 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.  

 

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric is offering a remote/hybrid position for an Associate Offer Manager specializing in Liquid Cooling. This role is open in the United States, with a preference for St. Louis, MO as the location.

 

The position focuses on global Liquid and AI cooling market, which is the biggest emerging market in Data Centre and C&SP segments a focused area for cooling Line of Business in Secure Power.

 

Overview

The Offer Manager position is part of the Offer Management team in Cooling Line of Business within Schneider Electric Secure Power Division. This role will focus on product lifecycle management, market intelligence collection and Launch process coordination to grow and promote business for Liquid cooling offers worldwideThis role will work with various functional teams within the organization, and with partners and customers to promote our offers and achieve results.

Responsibilities

 

Product Information Management

  • Lead the Product Management process of Cooling LOB with Systems using the various Offer Creation Tools (PIM Process for SKU Creation process and SKU Management).
  • Support Launch Process for key offer Releases (ELLA Process) and sales tools.

Market Analysis

  • Regularly conduct the competitive analysis of Liquid cooling offers and identify the needs for offer enhancement to keep the offer competitive and monitor cost trend.
  • Conduct Win / Loss Analysis.

 Customer Experience

  • Gather insights from our customer personas and by applying consistent practices to support a consistent customer experience and a seamlessly integrated customer journey.
  • Conduct VOC regularly.
  • Drive creation and management of solution design, configuration tools, digitized Service to propose a Best-in-Class Experience to our Customers.

Offer Creation and Other tasks to handle:

  • Understand and capture customer needs and define new offer scope and specifications in alignment with NAM and Global market needs and company strategy.
  • Identify NAM and Global market trends, disruptions and opportunities that can impact offer performance and drive initiatives to capitalize on it.
  • Execute offer creation Projects to meet customers’ demands, in coordination with all C&SP Teams (Engineering, Industrialization, Category Management, Marketing, Quality)
  • Develop Offer Specifications and ensure that they are aligned with market requirements and company strategy. Close working with Engineering teams for new offer creation, closing of OR-Offer Requirement document (to be developed in coordination and inputs from Business Development Managers and C&SP teams located globally).
  • Launch new offers, manage launch performance, and achieve offer program objectives.
  • Price positioning across all Go-To-Markets (GTMs) and geographies to capture offer value and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop offer competency within commercial teams through training and workshops.
  • Manage resolution of offer issues – technical and commercial.
  • Provide product specific strategic direction to the sales team globally through development and deployment of offer strategy plan/playbook.
  • Provide regular updates to the management on product line performance and initiatives.
  • Launch and maintenance of offer in Oracle, PIM and ELLA.
  • Sales tools creation and support for new and updates to existing products including ISX Design, Unicalc, etc.
  • Funnel management for product SELL to CLOSE in cooperation with demand planners and factory planning team.
  • ETO support on L3 and L4 projects for Global strategic accounts.
  • Close coordinate with Engineering team based in Shanghai / Conselve for Customer Specific Projects.
  • Coordination with Conselve and Bangalore factories for Supply Chain management.
  • Getting OR and forecast form NAM and all other global regions.
  • Presentation and promotion of Liquid Cooling offers in NAM and globally.

  • Deep knowledge of Data center cooling products and system specifications, configurations and working principles.
  • Knowledge of customer cooling and liquid cooling application needs and challenges in data center and industrial applications.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in dynamic international environment and manage through influence.
  • Handles multiple and conflicting priorities and effectively prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusion and work with multiple stake holder to drive the agenda.
  • Comfortable and effective in making presentations in front of large groups of people and senior management.
  • Strong team player to demonstrate leadership and achieve results.
  • Fluent in oral and written communication in English. 

Qualification and Experience

  • Engineering graduate (Mechanical / Energy Engineering / Equivalent); MBA is a plus.
  • Overall min 5-7 years of experience in product management, biz development and similar techno-commercial roles for cooling product offer companies.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Data Center Cooling industry in techno-commercial roles.
  • International work experience and flexibility to work with global teams in various time zones, with requirement for domestic and international travel.
